The Maestro Loves Cars Too

On most occasions, it will not be wrong to say that, there is very little that we know about a world famous personality, like the likes or dislikes etc. Sachin Tendulkar, the batting genius is one such example. We might know his on field likes, but how many of us know that he is the one who is an avid fast car fan?
Yes, that is right. The batting ace gave an example of what he loves when he tested speed and held all in awe whoever saw it. He quite comfortably handled cars like the Caterham R500, Mercedes SLS AMG, and an Aston Martin Vantage V12. He has given a candid admission that the fast cars really excite him.
He was comfortable while driving at the Chobham circuit. It is the circuit which has 3.5 KM track that has mind boggling turns and twists that only a trained and a skilled driver can negotiate at high speeds. And Tendulkar is one man who has conquered these turns too. His driving abilities showed that he can do more than slamming the ball around.
The 200 kmph mark was just as easy as he found scoring the 200 runs in an ODI.

Volkswagen’s Performance Satisfactory

Volkswagen basically rides on three of its brands – the Audi, the Skoda and the Volkswagen itself. These are the three models which have shown good days to the company. The sales have been good and it has made way for the company to plan ahead and ensure that they remain one of the top auto companies with a strong consumer base in India.
Volkswagen has come strong this year with sales proportion crossing the 100 per cent mark. This year alone the sales have shown an increase in more than 11,500 units in the first 6-7 months this year. Last year, for the very same time frame, the company could not touch even the five-figure mark in the sales department of Skoda, Audi and Volkswagen.
The satisfactory figures have not put the company in a state of complacency. They have now turned their sights on their new models, namely Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Vento. Mr. Joerg Mueller, the President and MD of Volkswagen India, has expressed his contentment in the way the company is performing.
The market is now awaiting the introduction of Volkswagen Vento. The car is still in its production phase. But it will not be long before the Vento hits the roads.

To own the BMW X5 xDrive50i, you will have to reduce your bank balance by a cool Rs. 69, 50,000. As for the BMW X5 xDrive30d, it is slightly cheaper and rests at Rs. 52, 99,000. Now that said, let’s have a look as to why the cars are so highly priced. Xenon headlights, LED Corona Rings, the designing, the appearance, the personality of the cars are all contributing factors to the price tag. However, you get your penny’s worth.
The front bumper has been completely redesigned. It is one change that instantly catches your eye. The fog lights are the neighbors of this newly designed bumper. These two changes combined together give an attractive view from the front of the car. Both these variants come with an eight speed automatic transmission.
